Glynn Bloomquist - President & CEO

Glynn Bloomquist has served the Company as its President and CEO since 1998. Glynn began his business career in 1976 with Fox Photo and during his 19-year tenure with Fox, Glynn advanced through the organization such that in 1983, he was appointed Senior Vice President Production, Operations with responsibility for the company's 37 production facilities throughout the United States. In 1986, Eastman Kodak acquired Fox Photo and Glynn was appointed Senior Vice President of Ektra Photo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kodak. In 1988, Kodak formed a joint venture with Fuqua Industries and Glynn was appointed the Corporate Group Vice President and, in 1993, was promoted to Senior Vice President Sales. As such, he was responsible for a national sales force providing service to a network of 44,000 retailers. Glynn joined Back-In-A-Flash in May 1995 as President and CEO and in this capacity, directed the growth of the company and, ultimately, its sale to Fuji Film in 1996. During his tenure as President, Back-In-A-Flash grew from a small regional retail chain of 14 stores to a national organization with over 100 stores. Glynn earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Texas Lutheran College and has completed Stanford University's Executive Program. Glynn was recognized in 2002 with the "Distinguished Alumni Award" from Texas Lutheran University and in 2005, he was inducted into the Texas Lutheran University Athletic Wall of Honor. Glynn was elected to serve on the Texas Lutheran University Board of Regents in February of 2007.

 

Larry W. Swol - Chief Quality Officer & Vice President, Operations

Larry Swol has over 15 years experience in operations management. In his most recent position, he served as Vice President of Operations for D2Audio Corporation. His experience includes international operations management of an electronics corporation, and operations management of an ISO certified electro-mechanical contract manufacturing organization. Mr. Swol served as Vice President of Operations for the Miltope Corporation, an $80 million publicly held company, where he directed all operational activities in a multi-facility U.S. manufacturing environment. He has extensive experience in manufacturing management. Larry received a BASc in Electronics Technology from Sienna Heights College, and an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Texas State University, giving instruction in operations management, total quality management and small business management.

 

Kevin Brady - Vice President, Finance

Kevin Brady brings over 25 years of diverse finance and accounting experience in various technology based companies. These companies cover several industries including hardware, software, and services companies. Kevin serves as Vice President of Finance for Barton Medical. In this role, he is responsible for finance, accounting, human resources, and IT. Prior to joining Barton, Kevin was President of Altman Direct Marketing, a provider of direct mail, print and data base services. Before Altman, Kevin was a Director of Finance at Dell. At Dell, Kevin held key finance positions in sales, product development, and the asset recovery divisions. Prior to Dell, Kevin was European controller for Unigraphics, then a division of EDS. Kevin has a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from SMU in Dallas.

 

Kurt Heiss - Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Kurt Heiss brings to Barton over 12 years of executive management, sales and marketing experience. Kurt's experience combines his technical / engineering background with his capability to mold, motivate, and develop a strong sales force and build aggressive marketing plans. After building and developing his direct sales skills and management experience within the hi-tech and telecom markets selling to America's Top 100 companies as well as Europe's most established corporations, Kurt has joined Barton Medical to ensure our top of the line products are being aggressively taken to market. Kurt received a double Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served his country throughout Germany, the Balkan States and Africa after his graduation in 1995. Kurt currently assists in the recruiting of young individuals for the U.S. Military Academy and has been added to West Point's "Athletic Hall of Heroes."

 

Rick Hensley - Vice President, HomeCare

Mr. Hensley has over twenty three years experience in the health care industry. His experience includes five years with Medline Industries ending as Divisional Vice President. Eighteen years as President and CEO of H.H. Enterprises, Inc working with over 200 of the industries top manufacturers assisting with federal compliance, market and product development, and electronic billing. Mr. Hensley consulted with numerous companies to improve the chain of distribution. Mr. Hensley is a Alumnus of the University of Tennessee. Mr. Hensley has served on the Healthcare Financing Administrations (HCFA) advisory council and is listed in Who’s Who of American health care. Mr. Hensley has served on the board of several charitable foundations and is based in Knoxville Tennessee.

 

Bruce Gray - Director of Training

Bruce Gray has over 23 years of health care experience, 20 years of which was spent as a member of the United States Navy where he recently retired as a Chief Petty Officer. During his 20 years of active duty he served in a variety of health care and training roles, one of which was that of Leading Chief Petty Officer of the Staff Education and Training Department at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Bruce is excited about being a member of the Barton Medical Corporation team and dedicated to improving the lives of patients and health care workers throughout the industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Columbia College and a Master of Arts degree from National University.
